Equipment to measure packaging performance, from pressure-resistance of a component or can, to assessing the easiness of an easy-open end– some of our equipment is designed in-house to answer very specific needs.
On-site equipment to produce prototypes with presses, body-maker, welder, shaping machines (mechanical/blow)… all the equipment you would find in a canmaking plant.
Metallographic tools and 3D scanners – to swiftly evaluate the characteristics of a packaging component – for example identification of local material thinning or variation of the intended geometry to ensure optimum component performance.
Finite Element Analysis – we are using state-of-the-art FEA software to optimise your products, such as the geometrical profile of an aerosol bottom or a standard end to allow significant lightweighting.
Mechanical and rheological performance card for each steel material in our catalogue – with different tests from the classic uni-axial tension through to the Forming Limit Curve – this identity card for each material is required to carry out relevant Finite Element Analysis, and specify the steel material for subsequent industrialisation.
